Terms of purchase

When buying an item, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item when you commit to buy an item and you complete the check-out payment process.

The prices we charge for using our services / for our products are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for products displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on request.

The fee for the services and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the service, such as taxes and possible transaction fees, will be charged to your chosen payment method.

Delivery / Carriage

Delivery times are approximated. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence unless previously agreed by Malone Guitars in writing. Our charge for delivery may not represent the actual cost paid by us to our courier. We reserve the right to charge the purchaser the full cost of carriage on unwanted goods. We always try and dispatch all UK orders on a next working day service. This isn't always possible as we prefer not to ship guitars on a Friday so they aren't sitting uncared for and unloved in a transit depot over a weekend: as such, guitars purchased from Thursday onward are typically shipped the following Monday.

Shortages & Damage in transit

Any shortages or damages MUST be reported to Malone Guitars within 24 hours or the next working day from the delivery date.

Return and refund policy

The company will not accept any returns without a valid returns authorisation. All mail order returns must be notified as soon as possible and in all cases within 14 days of the delivery date. It is the purchaser's responsibility to return any unwanted products to us in the condition that they were received, in the original packaging and with a copy of the sales receipt. We cannot accept a return if the item(s) arrive(s) back with us any differently to when they left us. Please do not write any returns references on the cardboard boxes as we will not accept the return. You will be emailed returns paperwork, which must be included inside the package. Any delivery labels can be placed over the original ones from our shipment to you.

A free collection will be made by us in the case of faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. Unwanted goods must be returned at the purchaser's expense, We cannot accept liability for damage incurred in transit, so we advise using a recorded and insured courier.

Items that are specially ordered for a customer or made to order can only be returned if they are faulty. Malone Guitars cannot accept any responsibility for the suitability of a special order but will endeavour to provide the best guidance possible.

For any undamaged product, we will exchange it or offer a refund based upon the original payment method.

In addition, please note the following products are not eligible for return: (a) used items in respect of any fault described in the listing and (b) items listed as spares or repairs (c) strings and other similar items which cannot be resold as new once used or fitted to an instrument.

Retention of right to change offering
We may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.

If we are unable to repair or replace the product within a reasonable time, the customer will be entitled to a full refund upon the prompt return of the product to us.
