I’ve just finished making this awesome lime green rock machine, lovingly known as ‘Beano’. Who doesn’t love a lairy super-strat?
While most of my instruments start as rough timber, this guitar features a high quality, light-weight ash Warmoth body finished in ultra-thin acrylic. This is paired with a top-of-the-line Warmoth bird’s eye maple neck with a pau ferro fingerboard, stainless frets, star-shaped mother of pearl position markers and Warmoth’s patented micro adjust system.
Electronics are all Fishman Fluence, with an open core humbucker classic in the bridge and a SSA single coil in the neck position. This offers a coil split bridge, plus Fishman’s amazing ‘second voice’ to give a wide range of classic super strat tones and an even darker tone when you need it.
Hardware is all Gotoh, with a high stability Floyd Rose type bridge with push-fit tremolo arm, locking nut and locking tuners.
